This is my first post and really don't know who to address it to. I am trying to uncover some roots for the names Bartolomo LoGiudice and Rosalia Catalanotte from Marineo, and Rizzo and Fantauzzo from Grotte. Any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

When I started kindergarten I couldn't speak English. Only Sicilian, the old dialect. I'm originally from Rochester, NY and we moved to NYC (47th and Second) in the early thirties. Around 1939 we moved to Jamaica, LI. My parents bought a house for $2600 (believe it or not). In 1950 we moved to Valley Sream, later got married (in '52), and moved to California in 1958, and am still here, making violins.

My Parents were from Grotte, not too far from Caltanissetta.
