1864 JOSEPH GIAMETTA ( son of deceased Xavier Giametta and ROSA MONTELEONE) married DOMENICA DI NAPOLI (daughter of deceased FRANCESCO DI NAPOLI and widow MARGHERITA di LEO) in Montevago, Province of Girgenti (now known as Agrigento) Dec. 26, 1828 birth of SEBASTIAN SPARACINO, son of JUSTINO SPARACINO and wife, CAJETANA CLEMENTE. godparents: ANTONINO SPIO and wife MARIA CANCEMI

I am wondering if the FERRARO names in my family may connect with someone.

My great grandmother was Margherita RUSSO, born March 27, 1828. 

Godparents were FRANCESCO di MARIA and his sister GRAZIA.

MARGHERITA RUSSO's parents were JOSEPH RUSSO and JOSEPHA FERRARO.

My great uncle, FRANCESCO SPARACINO born June 20, 1863.  He married MARIANNA ARMATO FEB 22, 1887.  She was the daughter of BALTASSARE ARMATO and ALOYSIA FERRARO.

All of these people were in Montevago, Sicily at times mentioned.

I am Mary in Lake Charles, LA and had a Houston cousin by marriage , Joe Tamborello whose only son is named Anthony. Joe married my cousin, Josephine Tusa and I have an ancestry chart on her family , if you are interested. My family's relationship with the Tusa's has always been a mystery as we are not sure how we are kin. We think it is through my father's mother's family. My dad was from Gibellina. I have a new name in my extended family from a copy of a passport. It is from Montevago and the name appears to be ORSOLA IENNA. It is hard to distinguish the first letter. I am told that the family pronounced it Enna. The name was later locally translated to URSULA ENLA. By the family, she was called something like nah roo sah luh. Is such a name in anyone's lineage?
