I am a little confused with all the date on my grandparents marriage cert. This document is all hand written, but very legible. Short version:

On date 21 January 1910 was transcribed the marriage of Corsale Vincenzo, son of Salvatore and Serafina Giardina, residing in Siracusa, with Cola Ida daughter of Pio and Caterina Salvi, residing in Naples, was celebrated in Alexandria, Egypt in the parish of Saint Caterina on the 31 January 1909.

Question: Would there be an original document at the church that is different than this one and how would I find out if the church still exists and its address. I know at one time there was a very large Italian Community in Alexandria.
