Don't feel alone when wondering where all the people are with your surname. Try BONFANTE and other surnames I am searching are Leggio, Spoto, Costanzo, Gelsomino, DeLiberti, Mingoia, Sciume' and most of these are from Mussomeli and Council Bluffs, IA.
Terranova, Palermo, Jamestown, NY

I have noticed that too. Looks like they got off the boat and stayed right there as there are a lot that remained on the East coast. That is also why I figured that I was loosing the battle with Jack's line being in the Midwest. Which also brings to mind, I think I was told that Nano had a brother that came over and he remained on the East coast but Jack can't remember. Because Nano Bonfante worked for the railroad his whole life he traveled a lot and he visited family??? in Phoenix or Tucson, AZ and San Jose, CA and other various trips that Jack can't remember the location so there is a great chance that we have some other family here in the US. I will get back to those of you that asked on the Leggio surname.
