Doris,
I noticed you are researching Lazzaro. I grew up with a Lazzaro family on the NW side of Chicago and last I knew they were living in the far NW suburbs of Chicago (1980's). I lost contact but my friend's name was Gayla Lazzaro. Are you related by chance?

Federico'sJoe Federico,
My sister-in-law believes this was her Grandmother's maiden name and has asked me to keep my eyes open. Sometime after coming to the US the name was changed to Frederick. You don't by chance have a trail to the Chicago area c 1900 do you? All she knows is that her grandmother was Theresa Federico and possibly came from the Palermo area (she d abt 1916 in Chicago).
