Thanks for replying. Dominique VARIANI, Father of Jean Battista. from Sicily settled in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, Dominique came to USA before 1850

-- Pietro (Peter) MATRANGA from Piana de Greci, Sicily and wife Rosa (Rose) MESSINA came through the port of New Orleans and settled there. They had five children Sam, Florence, Marie, Vincent, and George

---AIAVOLASITI from Piana de Greci. Sicily, settled in New Orleans, had 11 children

---Louis CEFOLIA from Piana de Greci and Catalina ?? came through the port of New Orleans and settled there----I believe they had nine children. I have already put these names on the list when it first started, Maybe not with this much information.

One month ago I would have never dreamed to have gathered as much information as I have. The people in the genealogy world are very helpful

and caring.

Thank you, Emily

Would like to add a little piece of information that I just found out about my Grandpa Pietro Matranga. He arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana in or about 1908.

Additional information that I now have on my Grandma Rose Messina are the names of her sisters and brothers. They are Vincent, Mary, Anthony, Joseph, Lawrence, Pat, Anna, Lena and John Messina. Pat being the youngest of the 10 children.

Thanks for all of your hard work,
