PuleoDonna
I have a Puleo in my family, Rosa Puleo. She was my great great grandmother. I believe she was born in Baucina, Palermo, as her daughter, Agnese Realmuto/Regalmuto was born there.

CapobiancoI am so lucky!
I have just discovered my great grandmother's maiden name...Capobianco. She was not from Sicily, but from Benevento, Campania but I thought I would put a query on this list since there are so many connections. Her son, my grandfather, married my grandmother, Rosa Vitale, from Cinisi, Sicily. I believe Cinisi is in Palermo.??? Do I have any Capobianco family members out there?

p.s. Did anyone make the Easter bread yesterday?

Subject: [{ITA-SICILY-L}] Looking for Busardo Siblings
Hello
Can someone help me with this, please? My grandfather, Vincenzo Busardo, was born in Palermo in 1892. I have his birth and baptismal records, as well as his naturalization and immigration petitions and papers. Have even been so lucky as to find his mother's passport. What I cannot determine is who were his siblings. I never met great aunts or uncles on my grandfather's side. The only name I have (and that one I cannot read) is his sister who is named on the passport. To whom would I write in Palermo to find this? I also have his baptismal certificate, dated January, 1892. Across the top it says "Parrocchio SS Salvatore (Torrelunga) Palermo" and on the bottom has a seal with a cross in it that says the same thing. I thought perhaps the church would be an avenue of research but cannot locate it. Is Torrelunga a specific area in Palermo? Help, help, help please.
Thanks for your time
Rose
