I thought I would post my Tamberella line since my mom still remembers the names of lots of cousins. Antonio Tamberella married Francesca Carona in Bisacquino, Providence of Palermo, Sicily c. 1860's. One son, Joseph, born 1868, served in the Italian Navy and came to the U. S. c. 1890, another son died in Bisacquino. Anthony and Francesca came in the 1890's, as did some of their brothers, sisters, cousins. Anthony was naturalized in Alabama, his son Joseph in Louisiana. Family members included the Lorino's, Truncale's, Romano's, Volpe's. My mother believes one of Anthony's brothers moved to New York, so we may be related to New York Tamberella's. The Lorino's were in Alabama, some of the Romano's moved to Los Angeles. Tamberella's, Carona/Caronia's, Volpe's and Truncale's were in New Orleans, La. and Donaldsonville, La.
