My mother's maiden name was Mancuso and her father's name was Guiseppe.  His Dad was Stephen, I believe. She also had Trippi relatives. Did your Maria Mancuso have a brother named Stephen? I believe they were from the Alia area, but my Mom's mother died when she was a teenager. I really don't have much on the Mancuso side of the family.

My mother's maiden name was Mancuso and she was born in Chicago, Illinois. However, her parents also lived in Napoleonville, Louisiana, for a time. I don't know a lot about the Mancuso side of her family.  My parents moved back to Hammond, Louisiana, when I was 8 years old.  I do know there are also families with the name of Collura in the Hammond area.
