Subject: [ITA-SICILY-L] Researching: Trabia / Palermo / Contessa Entalina / Sicily to New Orleans

Hi. I am researching my paternal grandparents who came from Trabia/Palermo Sicily to New Orleans around 1085 to 1899.

Vincenze Canciamilla (grandfather)

Dominica (Sunseri/Pischoitta?) (grandmother) not real sure which was her last name

My aunt Rose (Rosaria) age 2.

My grandparents are buried at Hope Mosuleum on Canal St.

My Aunt Rose is burried in Napoleonville, La

My grandparents lived in Napoleonville, which is where my dad was born until the early 1920's at which time they move to New Orleans in the French Quarter on St. Philip St.

And on my maternal side:

My great grandmother named Rosaria Cuccia was born in Contessa Entellina, Italy in 1878 and emigrated to New Orleans on the SS Emma arriving 4 FEB 1880. Her parents were Iconia CUCCIA and Vincinza (Julia) DI LIBERTA.

I show Roasria Cuccia born 14 Oct 1878, Contessa Entellina, Italy.  Parents Iconia CUCCIA born dec 1841 and Vincinza(Julia) DI LIBERTA born aug 1849 both Contessa Entellina Looking for more info on CUCCIA and DILIBERTA Arrived New Orleans SS Emma 4 Feb 1880. All died in New
