My husband's grandfather, Charles (Vincenzo) Colletti settled in Pueblo, Colorado. He married 3 times. There were some cousins, apparently who settled in New York or that vicinity.

I'd really love to hear more information about Lucca Sicula. From what I've been able to gather (which is a small amount) is that Lucca is a very small town. An interesting tidbit is that here in Pueblo, there are a large number of Italians who settled here but originated from Lucca. Why they migrated here is beyond me.

I'll ask my father-in-law about any relations in California just to be safe.

In that I have just recently subscribed to this list, I have been reading all of your e-mails the past few days and have enjoyed each one.  In my search for information on my husband's family (Charles ("Vincenzo") Colletti from the town of Lucca Sicula, Sicily), I have come across a

web-site that I thought might be beneficial.

I hope I have not already duplicated information that has been sent in the past, but hope that it may be helpful to a few out there. It seems to give a very insightful perspective on searching for ancestors in Sicily.
