ANSELMO.

My g-grandfather, Giovanni Anselmo came from Montemaggiore in 1890 and came to Buffalo, New York.  I need help in locating the date and ship.  Thank you

VALVO

My grandmother, Angela Dominica Valvo came to the United States on March 20,  1893.  The name of the ship Giava.  I cannot access the manifest on Ellis Island site.  It doesn't match up with the information I have. 

I would like to read the manifest to be positive I have the right person.  The passenger list reads correctly, but the manifest does not. Can someone help.

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA

My grandmother Mary Torregrossa was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 20, 1896.  Her father, Joseph came from the Valledolmo area. 

Since there are many variations in spelling Torregrossa I have not been successful in getting her birth record, if it is available.  Maybe there is a church record.  Can you help.

Could be:  Tourorus, Tourgrasso, Tutogrosa, Tauregrasso
