Connie, I'm SO jealous!! What a wonderful, heartwarming memoir! Thanks so much for sharing it with the list. I just returned from Tampa on Sunday from my first "genealogy-only" vacation. I met wonderful cousins that I had never met in person, and had some of the same feelings you described. Now, we're plotting our trip to Palermo and Contessa Entellina! I hope we can find an English-speaking cousin of our own. I'm so happy for you. Oh... and if you do build that house in Palermo, keep in touch!! We may just need a contact! lol

Warmest Regards,

~Amber

Subject: Sicilian photos to post...

Hi Donna,

I have some pictures of Contessa Entellina that were taken in the mid 1980's... some are of landscapes, some of the apartment where my Bruno / Romano family lives, and some of them visiting and eating together. I also have a picture of my great-grandmother when she was 4 years old standing next to her little sister, circa 1900 (Wow! 100 years old, didn't occur to me until just now :) Anyway, if you want, I have these photos already scanned.  just let me know how to send them to you. I missed the email with instructions. Thanks!

Kindest Regards,

Amber Parker
