I Ann Nichols of the Township of New Garden in the County of Chester in the Province of Pennsylvania Widow being far advanced in age and Somewhat indisposed but of Sound mind and disposition memory yet notwithstanding remembering that it is appointed for us to return to Dust from whence we came therefore for the Disposing of all Such Temporal Estate as kind Providence in his abundant Mercy hath blessed me with in this life do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to Say first and principally I will order and direct that all my Just Debts together with my funeral Expenses be paid and discharged by my Executor herein named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Sharp the full and Just Sum of twenty pounds Lawful money of Pennsylvania which said Sum I will order and direct my Executor herein after named to apply to and for the use of my said Son John as he my Executor may think most for his benefit and advantage for his Support and maintenance. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Benjamin Sharp the Just and full Sum of twenty pounds of like Lawful money aforesaide to be paid to hip at the end and Expiration of two years after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Nichols the Wife of James Nichols the Just and full Sum of twenty pounds of like money aforesaid to be paid to her at the end an Expiration of two years after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Woodward the Wife of John Woodward Junior the Just and full Sum of twenty pounds of like lawful money aforesaid to be paid to her at the end and expiration of two years after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto Hannah Brown the Wife of John Brown my Clock and Case and my riding mare or what Creature I shall have in my Custody. Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Sharp the Son of George Sharp the full and Just Sum of twenty pounds of like Lawful money aforesaid to be paid to him when he arrives to the respective age of twenty one years. Item I give and bequeath unto Samuel Sharp the Brother of the aforesaid Thomas Sharp the Just and full Sum of twenty pounds of like Lawful money aforesaid to be paid to him when he arrives at the respective age of twenty one years. Item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Thomas Sharp the son of Thomas Sharp deceased the full and Just Sum of twenty pounds of like Lawful money aforesaid to be paid to him when he arrives to the respective age of twenty one years. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son George Sharp the Sum of five Shillings. Item It is my mind and Will that if in Case my Estate should happen to fall Short and that after all my Just Debts and funeral Expenses are fully paid and discharged the remainder be not Sufficient fully to discharge the sevaral before mentioned Legacys that then and in Such case I will order and direct that all the aforesaid Legatees Shall abate in proportion to his her or their Legacy And if in Case my said Estate shall overrun and there be a surplusage after the Debts and Legacies are fully paid and discharged that then and in Such Case I will order and direct that all Such Surplusage be Eqqually divided between all the aforesaid Legatees Except my said Son George Share and parts alike to be paid to them Severally at the times and in the manner aforesaid. And lastly I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my loving Friend and Relation Samuel Sharp of London Grove Township in the said County of Chester whole and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking disanulling and making void all former Will or Wills either by Word or writing and this and this only to be taken for and as my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Twentieth Day of the Eleventh Month in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy eight.
