
A dauguerreotype of my great-great-grandfather, Joseph Walter Sharp (b. 11 Jun 1856 d. 16 Jun 1890).

Front Row: Harvey Young, Willie Hannum, Willie Holt, Ralph Kendig, Carrie Valentine, Emma Nesbitt, Lola Pennell, Lydia Hannum, Madge Gilmore, Mame Griffith, Bertha Griffith, Arthur Brosius, Edgar Sharp (holding hat), Charlie Tice, Willie Swayne, Norwood Wherry and Walter Jackson. Edgar was the son of Joseph Walter Sharp in the previous picture. Edgar died about eight years after this was taken, when he was thrown from a horse. Names are as they appear on the reverse of photo.
Edgar's two sisters appear in this school picture taken near the end of the 19th Century.
