The family of Walter & Jennie Sharp:

A dauguerreotype of my great-great-grandfather, Joseph Walter Sharp (b. 11 Jun 1856 d. 16 Jun 1890).

Edgar was the son of Joseph Walter Sharp in the previous picture. Edgar died about eight years after this was taken, when he was thrown from a horse. Names are as they appear on the reverse of photo.

Edgar's two sisters appear in this school picture taken near the end of the 19th Century. Jessie Sharp and Mary Louisa Sharp are the last two young women on the right in the front row. Jessie later married noted Chester County educator B. Reed Henderson and Mary married haberdasher Warren Forsythe Mitchell.
