BALLYCLOUGH CHURCH

Ballyclough Church, Ballyclough, County Cork Ireland.  The present church was built in 1829 on the site of a much earlier church. It was capable of accommodating 230 persons, and was built at a cost of £1030 British, and enlarged by the addition of a gallery in 1831 at the cost of £63. The church closed in 1970 and fell into poor repair and was used as a workshop and warehouse. The church has since been restored and is being used as a Funeral Chapel.
