Noone, Nuadhan A Gaelic sept derived from Nuadha (the name of an ancient sea divinity), The sept anciently possessed the district of Callraighe Laithimh, nearly co-extensive with the present parish of Calry, near the town of Sligo. In 1890 Noone was principally found in Galway, Roscommon and Mayo, and the estimated number of bearers was 2,150.
