| GOLDRICK | Janet Goldrick Friend | Seeking information on the GOLDRICK family. Specifically, I am looking for information on Miles GOLDRICK (b, 1833), Peter GOLDRICK (b. 1825), Owen GOLDRICK (b. 1824) and Philip GOLDRICK (b. 1795) who left Ireland and arrived in Philadelphia in April, 1848. They settled briefly in Southern New Jersey (1850 census) and then Miles, Peter and Owen moved on to Cleveland, Ohio -- I suspect that Philip died. However, two other younger Philip GOLDRICKs (b. 1833 and 1845) settled in the same neighborhood in Cleveland within a few years. Miles GOLDRICK married Margaret BURNS, about 1852, most likely in the Philadelphia area. I've also been recording information on other GOLDRICKs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio in hopes of establishing relationships at some point -- any information on the GOLDRICK family either in the U.S. or in Ireland will be greatly appreciated. |
