There are currently 164 Betsinger families, in twenty states, I have addresses for. There are some states, like the address in Alaska, with only one address. This address, I can tell belongs to a military person, and so, they will likely be moving. BUT, I’d still like to correspond with you, if you read this. The states with only one address are Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming. And Alaska!! Please leave me a message in the guest book if you find these pages.
Other states, like Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin have quite a large number of Betsingers, and I’ve made a separate page for that information. If your state is not listed here, or on the other pages, I don’t have any addresses in your state. PLEASE, contact Linda with your information. I believe the more Betsingers we contact, the greater our chances of finding who immigrated to the U. S. and how we all connect.
Here is a bit of information on the states with more than one address, but it is probably only one family. In many cases, I haven’t made contact, YET, with these families, as I just haven’t had time. BUT, I’d sure like to compare and share what information we both have.
I believe there are two families in Colorado, and I believe they relate to my Abraham. Interestingly enough, there was a Lizzie Betsinger, who was born in Bavaria, in the 1870 Arapahoe County census. Don’t you wonder how she got to Colorado, and what happened to her??

There is a Geoffrey living in Maryland now. I believe he may be military also. In the 1860, Baltimore census, there was a George Bedsinger, born in New York. That’s all the information I have on him. Does anyone know him??

The 1920 census of St. Joseph had a John and Louise Betsinger. John had been born in Iowa. Does anyone know whom they belong to?

I believe the four addresses I show for Virginia have all arrived since 1977. This is because when my brother moved there then, he was the only Betsinger in the state.
