The following information on my Southern Watson lineage is far from complete. 
I have not actively researched this family line in several years.  However if you find
something here of interest, I would be delighted to visit with you.  I am willing to
share and exchange information that I do have.

Information for James and 4 sons was found in a family group record compiled by
Ginger Winters Stallings, 112 Cambridge Circle, Lafayette, LA 70503,
and published in "Pioneers of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama prior to 1830"
by the TGS in 1981.

Information for Watson lineage to Lucinda Frances Watson was provided by
Jimmy Watson of Pine Bluff, AR (first via his query in "Itawamba Settlers"
Vol XIV #1, Spring 1994; then in a telephone conversation 26 Apr 1994) unless other source data is recorded with the individual.   In telecon, Jimmy indicated Tobias was from Tuscaloosa, AL.

Said to have protected the Blassengame family following a shootout in a  personal dispute on 07 Apr 1856 in Comal County, TX.

m. Charles Andrew DOZIER m. 22 Jul 1892 Fulton, Itawamba, MS b. 02 May 1874 AL , d. 21 Apr 1956 Fulton, Itawamba, MS; [son of Calvin James DOZIER and Margaret Elaine FIKES] C.A. & Lucinda bought the Wuygul Hotel in Fulton. A murder had been committed on the 1st floor ca 1900's.

Charles: May have reided in Jasper, AL per Mary Burch of Memphis, TN.
Newspaper photo of Andrew seated at wheel of 1909 Model T Ford, one of  the first cars to come to Itawamba county and thought to be the third car in  Fulton, also family photo which appeared in Itawamba County Times newspaper.

1880 Fed Census gives name as Cornelius A.    P. A. Dizhier listed with C.A. as posting bond  22 Jul 1892 for marriage of  C.A. and Lucinda.
