Egan
This symbol
represents my direct lineage.
Catherine
EGAN was my second great grandmother. She was born about 1831 in
Claire Co., Ireland, and spent many years as a homemaker following her marriage in 1852 to John J. Clark
in Chicago, Illinois. During the time she and her husband lived
in Rock Creek, Wyoming, she ran a bording house. Following his
death in 1881 in Boulder, CO, Catherine moved to Albuquerque, New
Mexico, to be near some of her children. She supported herself by
working as a cook in the hospital. She died 17 Dec 1911 and is
buried in the old Santa Barbara Cemetery in Albuquerque.
Catherine's children are listed on the Clark page. I would love to hear from any descendants of this branch of the family.
