Update information on
the latest corrections/additions
According to William Hurst's theory (also partly Gwen Hurst's) the following is the assumed ancestry of those Hursts who are known as the "HURSTs of SHENANDOAH" (see Bill Hurst's web page )
Recent DNA testing has proven that John "Mill Creek" Hurst, Absalom Hurst, Jeremiah Hurst & "Brindle Bill" Hurst are related. Therefore it does seem that John "Mill Creek" & Absalom are brothers, sons of Thomas Hurst.
This same DNA testing proves absolutely that the American Hursts are NOT related to Henry Hurst of Leckhampstead (b 1679)
