Music & Instruments

Sandy had performed as a member of various country-western musical groups when he was younger.  He still maintains an active interest in country music, and is trying to learn more about bluegrass music.  He has a few guitars, and has been known to bore anyone who will listen, with "Uncle Sandy's Raunchy Rhymes and Bawdy Ballads," a collection of humorous and slightly off-color songs and stories.

All it takes is a campfire and an audience; he becomes insufferable.

Collections

Sandy enjoys stamp collecting, with concentration in United States and  The Philippines.  He also has collections of music, books, baseball caps and coffee mugs.   Carolyn is a voracious reader of romance novels (and has a few thousand of them) and has a small collection of glasses and decanters.

Arts and Crafts

Carolyn crochets, works in ceramics and enjoys custom-making towels, tee-shirts and sweats, particularly using photographs or her own artistic designs.  She also is known for her home-made jams, jellies and preserves.  You really should try her old fashioned apple butter!  It's great!
