Walfred Dahl of Fort Bragg was fatally injured in a sawmill accident at Willits August 14, 1946 and died in the hospital there on the 18th.
Born at Fort Bragg on October 24, 1909, he left a widow, Mrs. Eleanor Dahl and two sons, Loren and Lloyd. He married Eleanor Lemmon on March 28, 1933.
His father, John Dahl, and sister, Mrs. William Stone, both of Fort Bragg, [both survive].
The funeral was on the 21st with burial at Rose Memorial Park.

Services Held Tuesday for Avery Lemmon
--
R. Avery Lemmon, Sr., 88, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 1983 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born December 17, 1895 in Hamilton to John Burton and Melinda (Fee) Lemmon. Mr. Lemmon was a retired farmer and was also retired from the Highway Department. He was a member of the Knights of Pythia in Hamilton and
American Legion Post 31 in Angola. He married Alice Radabaugh in March, 1937 in Angola.
Surviving besides the wife are two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Reba) Crowl of Hamilton, Mrs. Dean (Joyce) Sutton of Hamilton; three step-sons, Hershell Grill of Reno, Nevada, Arden Grill of Fort Wayne, and Gerald Grill of
Waterloo; one step-daughter, Charlotte Fee of Angola; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Hamilton with the Rev. Brayton officiating. Burial was in Carter Cemetery.
