Hamilton resident Louis Don Lemmon, 59, died Saturday, June 26, 1999 at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born April 10, 1940, in Angola, to Clay Lincoln Lemmon and Mary Margaret (Huff) Lemmon Troyer.
Mr. Lemmon earned an associate degree from Indiana University and was an engineering administrator for ITT Industries where he was employed for 38 years, retiring in 1999. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the
Hamilton United Methodist Church, Skirts and Shirts Square Dance Club in Auburn and Hamilton Lake Association.
He was a Junior Achievement advisor for over 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, whom he married on May 29, 1965; one son, Steve of Auburn; two daughters, Beth Sepponen and Colleen Lemmon, both of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Sharon Perna of Garland, Texas, Linda Lindeman
of Fort Wayne and Lucie Wilcoxson of Garrett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Ammon David Troyer, and one half sister, LuAnn Reade.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Hamilton, with the Rev. Edwin Clark officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Lake Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Hamilton United Methodist Church-Junior Church or to The Grandchildren's Education Fund in care of ITT Credit Union.
