Ernest H. Holberg, 73, died May 10, 1993 at home from cancer. He grew-up in
southern Humboldt County where his father worked in the camps and attended
Fort Bragg High School.
He worked as a timber faller, retiring from Georgia-Pacific in 1982. He was
a veteran of Army service in the South Pacific in World War II.
His widow, Eleanor Holberg and son, Donald Holberg, both of Fort Bragg:
daughter Nancy Holberg Caster of Willow Creek; two stepsons, Loren Dahl of
Springfield, Oregon, Lloyd Dahl of Fort Bragg; and a sister, Eleanor Bohannon
of San Leandro, survived.
Rev Arlin Sanford led services on the 15th.
