Lindy Olander was born on 21 January 1932 at Audubon, Becker County, Minnesota.2,3,4 He was the son of Carl Olander and Viola Peterson.5 He married Carol Jean Huebner, daughter of Theodore Edward Huebner and Rosella Elizabeth Burns, on 6 June 1978 at Milbank, South Dakota.1,5,6 In 1980 Lindy and Carol resided at Detroit Lakes, Becker County, Minnesota.7 Circa 1984 Lindy and Carol lived at Rte. 3 Box 118B, Detroit Lakes, Becker County, Minnesota.1 In 1993 Lindy and Carol lived at Route 2, Box 118B, Detroit Lakes, Becker County, Minnesota.2 He died on 19 July 1995 at age 63.3,4       On 21 July 1995 his obituary was "The funeral for Lindy C. Olander, 63, Detroit Lakes, Minn., will be at 1 Saturday in Grace Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 today in West-Kjos Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, and one hour before services in the church. He died Wednesday, July 19, 1995. Mr. Olander was born Jan. 21, 1932, in Audubon, Minn., where he grew up and attended school. During the Korean War he served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. On March 24, 1956, he married Beverly Gift in Detroit Lakes. They lived in Moorhead where he worked for the M&H Station. He moved to Detroit Lakes in 1959 where he worked at the M&H Station and also drove a school bus. In 1963 he and Lowell Arndt started Olander-Arndt Bus Co. in Detroit Lakes. In the mid-1970s he purchased the entire business and continued to operate Olander Bus Co. until the time of his death. He had also continued to farm most of his life. On June 6, 1978, he married Carol Huebner Small in Milbank, S.D. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steven (LaVonne) Olander and Michael (Lisa) Small, both Detroit Lakes; a daughter, Laurie Olander, Detroit Lakes; a sister, Hattie (Jim) Rislund, Waubun, Minn; and four grandchildren.".6

"Charles Deuchar and Ann Teviotdale [sic] his wife at Piterris had a Child born 1st and baptized 6th March named Alexander." He was listed as 24 years old in the 1851 census.1,2 He was the son of Charles Deuchar and Anne Davidson.1 He was christened on 6 March 1826 at Parish of Craig, Forfarshire, Scotland.1 The 1851 census lists Alexander Deuchar in the household of James Deuchar at Inchbridge, Parish of Craig, Forfarshire, Scotland. The enumeration district included "The Eastern District, bounded by the Montrose and Arbroath Turnpike Road and the Parish of Maryton on the (?) by the sea on the East & South; and by the Estuary of the South Esk on the North. Extent 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 miles." Enumerated with Charles Valentine, an apprentice shoemaker aged 18, born in Arbroath, and Jean Mitchell, a domestic servant aged 12 born in Brechin.2 In 1851 Alexander was a journeyman shoemaker at Inchbridge, Parish of Craig, Forfarshire, Scotland.2      Alexander Deuchar inherited as an unnamed living child according to the will of his father Charles Deuchar dated 10 May 1860 at Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland.3 He died on 3 August 1900 at Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland, at age 74.4 The estate of Alexander Deuchar was inventoried on 4 November 1900 at Forfar Sheriff Court, Forfar, Forfarshire, Scotland.4
