Welcome to our Home Page. I do, occasionally, change the pictures on this page! I usually update the Christmas pictures.
This is where we actually lived in Montgomery Township. The house on our home page is just a fire screen and in no way resembles our actual home!
This is Cathy's house after her paint job and renovations. We built her house in 1980.It's now in her condo on top of her entertainment center. Good thing she has a cathedral ceiling.
I had an urge to redecorate the house so I went for the miniatures I had in the attic!
This is Carol's house after the renovations and redecoration! The shingles and siding are painted as I didn't want to destroy the look of her circa 1976 Bicentennial Dollhouse. We built the house for her for Christmas that year. After it was painted it went back up into my attic for now.
Here is Lizzie putting the finishing touches on my gingerbread
castle. She also makes one to take home.
This is the dynamic duo of Lizzies, just finishing their foamy gingerbread houses. We made an entire village. Joe made the same village and took his home to display in their livingroom.
This is our library and the Patriotic Tree. We've been collecting the campaign buttons for years and finally found a good use for them! I especially love the small quilted square made from red and white stripes and blue fabric with stars by Cousin Margaret Hullfish McCandless. Jerry's USMC shoulder patches are on the tree along with a patch from Daddy's III Division USMC. Closer view of the library Patriotic Tree.
This is our shed/barn in Montgomery. Some of the flowers are real and some I painted on! I was tired of the concrete patio so made it "faux-slate". Looks even better in person. I wonder if the new owners have painted over it all?
The familyroom Santa Tree.
. This one is mostly Santa ornaments that I've painted. There are a couple of gorgeous big quilted ones by Cousin
Marion Hullfish McCandless as well as a folded white paper star she made for me. My Toni doll rests under the tree every year. She was a gift from Aunt Doris when I was thirteen and had been told I was too old to play with dolls but wanted her anyway!
Harry at Christmas. I love this picture!
Our livingroom Angel Tree and nativity "city" which Joe helps design and display. We added the blacksmith shop and the weaving shop one year and bought some trees, a new person, a couple of animals and a new road.
Harry.
Mom and "Little Jack" at Nancy's on Christmas Day.
Harry and Lillian enjoying the Glow of Christmas!
This pictures is from a couple of years ago but it's still applicable! This IS what Harry does every year while all this decorating, baking and celebrating is going on! Actually, he does run the extention cords for the outside lights and he tapes up the tree boxes and puts them back up in the attic for me! And....he is VERY good at testing out chocolates, cookies and pecan brittle!
View from my diningroom window in early 2001. The picture was too beautiful to not use on the webpage!
Last....but by far not the least....is this photo from Christmas of 1973. We went to see Santa and they took this picture. Cathy and I think it was the Drug Fair in Westfield. Gee...they look just the same...
