    BLANDINE PETERSON

    Blandine Peterson, 76, of Stow Creek Township, formerly of Bridgeton,
    died in Cumberland Manor on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006. She had been in
    failing health for the past year and a half.

    The wife of the late William F. “Bill’’ Peterson, she was born in Bybee,
    Tenn., and was the daughter of the late Chess and Anna May Hayes Lovell.
    She had been a Bridgeton area resident since 1940.

    Blandine had formerly been employed with Hunt Foods, Ritter Canning Co.
    and Sibel & Stern Clothing Co, all of Bridgeton.

    Survivors include: one son, Keith L. Peterson, Bridgeton; one daughter,
    Sharon M. Clark, Stow Creek Township; a step-son, William F. Peterson
    Jr., California; two sisters, Lila Bevell, North Carolina and Arvilla
    Weeks, Marion, N.C.; two brothers, Willard Lovell, Morristown, Tenn. and
    Donnie Lovell, Marion, N.C., seven grandchildren and six great
    grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Allie Lovell
    and Cotton Lovell.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, Feb. 16, at 2 o’clock
    in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
    Township. Burial in Northville Lutheran Cemetery, Upper Deerfield
    Township will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing
    will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon between 1 and 2

    Keith L. Peterson, 56, of Bridgeton passed away Thursday morning March 24, 2011 at the South Jersey Healthcare – Bridgeton Hospice Inpatient Unit following a courageous battle against cancer.

    Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late William Peterson and the late Blandine Peterson (nee Lovell). He was a lifetime area resident.

    Mr. Peterson was a self employed as the owner and professional painter of K&J Painting in Bridgeton. He loved to play pool and was an avid fan of both boxing and wrestling. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family.

    He is survived by four children, Stephanie Johnson and her husband Dan, Brittany Peterson, Joseph Peterson all of Bridgeton and Meloni of TN, six grandchildren, Daniel, Christian, Dominic, Elijah, Nevaeh and LJ, one sister, Sharon Clark and her husband Butch of Stow Creek, one brother William F. Peterson II of CA, one aunt Lila Lovell of NC and by his fiancé Diane Garcia of Bridgeton.

    Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday afternoon March 29th at 2 o’clock at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton with Rev. Donald K. Harrington of the Berean Baptist Temple officiating.

    Cremation and inurnment will follow the service at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Twp.

    Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon one hour prior to the service.

    Elsie F. Peterson, age 89, of Money Island died Thursday morning, March 24, 2005 at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland where she had been a patient for two weeks.

    Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Louis and Charlotte Gill Fischer she was the wife of the late William H. Peterson. She had been a Money Island resident for 30 years and had lived in Newport previous to that.

    Before her retirement in 1980, Mrs. Peterson had been employed with the Airwork Corporation in Millville for 23 years and also the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Camden. She had also previously worked for the late Judge Francis Stanger in Cedarville.

    A graduate of Collingswood High School and the Taylor’s Business School in Philadelphia, she was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Bridgeton and had played the organ at the Newport Baptist Church and the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Oaklyn. She was also a member of the Downe Township Senior Center.

    Surviving are a son, William H. Peterson, Jr. of Murrietta, CA; a daughter, Charlotte M. Harris of Cedarville; a stepdaughter, Ruth Harris of Middletown, DE; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Dennis, Casey, Ty and Tad and 2 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Monday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m.

    Burial will be made at Newport Baptist Cemetery.

    Friends may call on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

  4. [S318] Unknown author, Obituary, HOFFMAN, FLORENCE E., 64, - of Erma, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA after a courageous battle with cancer. Florence was born June 20, 1944 in Millville, was raised in Leesburg and most recently resided in Erma for the past 25 years. Florence worked for Keene's Kitchen in North Cape May, Menz's Restaurant in Rio Grande and recently in the kitchen at the Cape May County Correctional Center until it was privatized with Crest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she helped provide meals for both facilities. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends barbequing, sitting around the kitchen table and crafting her wooden yard art. Florence is predeceased by her parents Rolland Hoffman and Rachelle Hoffman (nee Pettit); her sister Rachelle Hoffman; three brothers Warren, Wayne and Robert Hoffman. She is survived by her Partner of 25 years Cheryl J. Mason of Erma. Children - Cheryl A., Tabetha L., and Allen C. Mason. Six grandchildren, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday (July 21) in the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May where there will be a visitation from 10-11am Monday. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Florence's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
