     James Goodwin Barnard was born on 1 July 1801. He married Lavina B. Houghton, daughter of Rufus Houghton and Abigail Barnard, in 24 December 1826 at Lancaster, Worcester Co., MA, USA. James Goodwin Barnard died on 26 March 1860.
