Louis P. Horsch and Jane J. Mulvey

Louis Horsch was born in Heidelberg, Germany about 1844. He came to America before 1864, and he served in the Civil War. He married Jane Mulvey on December 11, 1877 in Kinney County, Texas. Jane was born in Ireland in January 1847, and came to America in 1864. Their first child, Catherina Marie, or Kittie, was born in Texas in 1878. Their second child, Ellen Theresa, or Nellie, was born in Mexico in 1883. Their third child, Thomas Louis was born around 1888 and he died in San Diego, California in February 1890. Louis P. Horsch died a month later in March 1890.

Jane moved to northern California sometime between 1900 and 1910. Jane and Nellie lived in San Francisco, and Kitty was an inmate at the State Hospital in Sonoma County.
