Jacob Horsch and Susanna Young

Jacob Horsch and Susanna Young/Joung/Junk lived in Coblenz, in the Rhine province of Prussia. Jacob was born in 1848 to George Horsch and Marquette Herz. Susanna was born in 1850. Jacob and Susanna were married around 1872, and had five children in Germany. Jacob came by himself to America around 1881. Susanna came later in 1882 with their five children, and they settled in Detroit Michigan. According to the 1900 census, they had 13 children, of which 10 were still living. Today, many of the descendents of Jacob and Susanna live in Wayne, Jackson and Oakland counties.
