Hopley Trivia

During my research I have found a fair amount of Hopley trivia (or useless information) such as:
 

• There were no passengers or crew with the surname Hopley on the Titanic.

• John Edward Hopley (Royal Academy) invented the method of facial measurement.

• The author Catherine Crowe wrote the novel Susan Hopley (1841)

• The parents of Keith Moon (1946-1978), the former drummer of the British band 'The Who' were Alfred Charles Moon and Kathleen Winifred Moon (nee Hopley). (They lived in the west London area of Wembley.

• Hopley's Purple Oregano (or Origanum laevigatum).
