Vesta C. Allen Services Set Tomorrow in Trenton Trenton, Tenn., Oct. 5, (1961), Vestie C. Allen, Gibson Co. farmer, died at St. Mary's Hospital in Humboldt Thursday morning after a brief illness. He was 71. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mr. Allen was born in Hardin County and had lived near Trenton for the past 31 years. He was a World War I veteran, a member of the American Legion and a Methodist. He leaves a wife; a son, Clyde Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter Mrs. W. M. Love of Memphis; two brothers, Horace Allen of Savannah, Tenn., Malcomb Allen of Pinson, Tenn., a sister, Mrs. C. M. White of Bethel Springs, Tenn. |
