Max Gary, 75, PINSON

Services for Max R. Gary, 75, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson. Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson.

Mr. Gray, a retired officer of the Tennessee Highway Patrol and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, died Saturday at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Jackson of renal failure and complications of a stroke. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Frye Gary of Pinson; a daughter, JoAnne Hopper of Denmark; and a sister, Joyce Roark of Cleveland, Tenn. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
