Mrs. Kate Allen --

p.m. Tuesday at Shelton Funeral
Home with Dr. Bev. Farnsworth officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Allen, widow of Vestie Allen, died Sunday afternoon at
St. Peter’s Village in Memphis after a long illness. She was a member of Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church
in Memphis. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Love of Memphis; a son
Robert C. Allen of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie LaBrerrea and Mrs.
Mennie White both of Corinth, Miss.; five grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
