Guy Sherwood Delaney

MORRIS CHAPEL- Funeral serivices for Guy Sherwood Delaney, 86,will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2005 at Shackelford Chapel with Oscar White offi iating.  Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Delaney, a self-employed farmer and carpenter, died Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center, Savannah, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Love Delaney of Morris Chapel, TN;  daughter, Judy Freeman and her husband, Fred of Jackson, TN; son, Tommy Delaney and his wife Billie Jean of Morris Chapel, TN; four grandchildren, Pam Rhinehart Meek, Wesley Freeman and his wife Susanne, Mandy Delaney Webb and her husband, Bobby and Josh Delaney; six great-grandchildren, Clint, Shelby and Rachel Meek, Harrison Freeman and Bailey and Delaney Webb; sister, Lois Smith of Jackson, TN and brothers, Cecil Delaney and Robert Neal Delaney both of Jackson, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Kelley and Felix Albert Delaney; daughter, Jo Ann Rhinehart; sisters, Edna Cloyd and Clara Beasley and brothers, Omar, Delmar, Max L. and Harold Delaney.

Pallbearers to serve will be Mr. Delaney's nephews.
