Mrs. Grace Sipes Singleton Petty, February 1971 Memphis - Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Sipes Singleton Petty, 78, will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Savannah with the burial in Old Union Cemetery. Mrs. Petty died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She made her home at 355 Allendale in Memphis. She was a native of Hardin County, but had made her home in Memphis for about 13 years. Surviving are two sons, C. H. Singleton of Memphis and J. C. Singleton of Adamsville; five daughters, Mrs. B. N. Wetmore of Miami, Florida, Mrs. N. T. Dickson of Memphis, Mrs. W. C. Garey of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Dyke Weaver of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Charles Vacarro of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. E. W. Story of Adamsville and Mrs. Robert Ratliff of the Hooker's Bend Community; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. |
