Barney B. Pitts -
April l961 SAVANNAH, Tenn. -- Barney Brownlow Pitts, 69, died Sunday at
Saltillo. He was a farmer and a lifelong Hardin Countian.
He was a former partner in the Harbour-Pitt Store at Cerro Gordo.
He was a member of the Saltillo Lodge F&AM. Services were held today at 2 p.m. at Russell Chapel
Methodist Church with Herbert Haggard of Savannah officiating. Burial was at Russell Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Pitts is survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie Pitts of Saltillo; one son, Hardy P. Pitts of Saltillo; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Davis of Saltillo; two brothers, John A. pitts of Savannah and Luther P. Pitts of Roswell, N. M.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Northcut of Clovis, N. M. and two granddaughters.
