John Carl Koehn
Carl and his family immigrated to the United States of America aboard the "Wieland" steamer from Hamburg, Germany to Le Harvre, France and then to Castle Garden, New York City. They arrived on November 1, 1890. They left Germany with two children, Vida, and Gustau, also known as Augusta. Vida died on the high seas in route to America. Their native home was Gros Dratow, Mecklenburg, Germany
