DE LEON - Lee Warren Holdridge, 90, died Saturday at a local nursing home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with Wesley Howard officiating, assisted by Sherly Taylor. Burial will be in De Leon Cemetery, directed by Nowlin Funeral Home. Mr. Holdridge was born in the Downing community and lived in De Leon all his life. He was a retired mortician and a member of First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Methodist board of stewards and, formerly, De Leon school board. He married Mildred Whitlow in 1928 in the Van Dyke community; she preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, Joe Wayne Holdridge of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Ermilee Hollingsworth of Grapevine; three brothers, Marvin Holdridge of Comanche and W.C. Holdridge and Fred Holdridge, both of De Leon; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
