Joseph Lacefield

I have been reading your posts regarding the Lacefield family. I may have something to contribute. I have done some research in this area being a descendant of Lucy Lacefield of Barren County, KY. This is a confusing family to work on because of the name changes and so forth. I have put together a list of the descendants of William Lacefield. Some of this data comes from Denzil Garrison whose book is a must read. The rest comes from census data, tax records etc. I have much more info than what is listed below and I am more than willing to share and compare notes. I think Lucy and Elizabeth Lacefield were sisters since they married two brothers and I am pretty sure they were daughters of William Sr. and not William Jr. Since William Jr was born around 1761, he would have been 10 when she was born.
William Lacefield, born ca. 1739 Children:
a. Joseph Lacefield b. abt 1758.
Children: Elizabeth Lacefield (b. ca. 1780) married David Sanders in 1796 in Lincoln County, KY Sally Lacefield (b. ca. 1782) married Peter Sowden in 1799 in Lincoln County, KY Polly Lacefield (b. ca. 1783) married John Shakleford in 1799 in Lincoln County, KY Mary Laswell (b. ca. 1786) married Stephen Wilson in 1803 in Lincoln County, KY Nancy Lacefield (b. ca. 1788) married Frederick Ott in 1805 in Lincoln County, KY Abigail Lasswell (b. ca. 1789) married Henry Ott in 1806 in Lincoln County, KY Jesse Lacewell (b. 1784-1794) John Lacefield (b. 1802)?
