[From this deed we can be sure that it was Jacob (Jr)/wife Mary Long.
who had
this piece of land and not his father Jacob. This erases any
doubt about that.
Now we know we have each one located in his township. Jacob Steel (Jr)was
the
grandfather of Amos Walter's wife, Sarah Ann Johnston.
Corn is growing there today! Jacob and Mary's house is gone.
But on the property
right next door which Amos bought in 1865, the
house still stands where Amos and his wife Sarah lived.]
