Two Patents to Robert Ramsay of Westmoreland County PA

This invention is for the improvement of the wheels on the rail cars used in the mines. It was patented to Robert Ramsay, of Irwin's Station, Pennsylvania.  The patent number is 134, 929 and it was dated January 14, 1873. I got this up at Cleveland Public Library where they have patents on microfilm.

The following three images are from a patent for an apparatus for shifting rail cars in a coal mine.  It is Patent Number 404,656 dated June 4, 1889. It was given to Robert Ramsay of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
