This was the only person that the state of VA could find
for me
that fit the right area and the right time period. His
parents were
William and Lydia. He was born around 1871. William and
Lydia Holderfield
were living in Old Town Township, Grayson County VA in
the 1870 census.
And since the name Holderfield was/is always getting
messed up,
I think this is probably the right birth record.
