To all whom it may concern, know ye that Benjamin G. Taylor a Private
of Captain F.H.
Lovings Company (G) 92nd Regiment of Ohio Volunteers who was enrolled
on the 15th
day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty two to serve three
years or during the
war is hereby discharged from the service of the United States thistenth
day of June 1865,
near Washington D.C. by reason of telegram order War Dept May 18th
1865, providing
for the discharge of men whose term of service expires prior to Oct
1st 1865.
(No objection to his being reenlisted
is known to exist.) Said Benjamin G. Taylor was
born in Westmoreland Co. in the State of Ohio[sic---it was
PA] is 28 years of age ,
5 feet 7 inches high, light complexion, Blue eyes
, light hair and by occupation when
enrolled, a farmer.
Given near Washington D.C. this tenth day of
June 1865.
