Living there are the Winkler children William [29], Levi C.[26], Wesley J.[23], Sarah J. [18], Mary E.[16], Walter E. [12]. All the children were born in OH. |

Levi may have been living in Fairview OH in 1893. There was a Levi Johnson at the Steele Family reunion that year. |

Lutheran Cemetery, Wayne Co. OH.
His wife, Mary "Polly" Steele is buried
there also. She died 10 June 1874,
age 67 years, 7 months and 2 days. She
was born 8(?) Nov. 1806.]

The plaintiff represents that he is the duly appointed and qualified
administrator of the
estate of said William Johnson, deceased, late of the county of Wayne
and state of Ohio,
that valid debts of decedent amounting to about $1150 have already
been presented to
plaintiff for payment a schedule of which debts is hereto attached
marked "Exhibit A" that
the costs of administration will amount to about $150, and that the
total value of the
personal estate and effects of said decedent is but $55.62 being wholly
insufficient to pay
the debts and costs aforesaid. The plaintiff further represents that
said William Johnson
died seized in fee simple of the following described real estate situated
in the township of
Green[,] county of Wayne and State of Ohio[not
included here is an actual land
description]
The said William Johnson died leaving as his sole heirs at law the
said defendants and he
[the plaintiff, James Winkler] prays
that he may be authorized and ordered to sell said

In obedience to an order and decree
of the Probate Court, within and for said County,
made on the 1 day of Oct, A.D. 1889, in a certain cause, pending in
said Court on the
Petition for the Sale of Real Estate, wherein you, as the Administrator
of the Estate of
Wm Johnston, deceased, are Plaintiff, and Sarah A Walter et al, heirs
of said deceased,
et al., are Defendants, you are commanded that by the oaths of Jacob
Bechtel, Reuben
Buchwalter and Christian H Yoder, judicious and disinterested men of
the vicinity, and
upon actual view of the premises, you cause a just valuation and appraisement
to be made;
and that, when so appraised, you cause to be sold, according to law,
as hereinafter specified,
the following described premises, situate in Township of Green, Wayne
county and State
of Ohio, to-wit: [Not included here is a repeat of the same land
description.]

Said sale to be made on the premises in said County, in which
such real estate lies,
after notice of the time and place thereof, to be given by advertising

named as defendant. Petition filed 23 July 1889, with a hearing scheduled
for 26 Aug 1889.

of Notice" which said at the top:]

et al.........In Probate Court, Wayne County, Ohio. "We, the undersigned,
hereby waive the
issuing and service of Notice in the foregoing proceeding, and hereby
voluntarily enter our
appearance herein."
