WILL of ELIZABETH (HULL) DENTON, 1812

In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Denton of the township of Chester, County of Morris and State of New Jersey being of sound mind and memory do, make and publish this as my last will and testament-
First I give to my son Benjamin one Dollar---
Second I give to my Daughter Sarah Brown one hundred & fifteen Dollars and my homespun curtins(sic)- but of at my Demise my daughter Sarah should not be living, it is my will that the above property be equally divided among her children, excepting her eldest son (Caleb) he to have two shares
Third I give to my daughter, Mary King, one Dollar---
Fourth I give to my Daughter, Betsey Stuart, one Dollar---
Fifth I give to my Daughter Rachel Brown, one Dollar.
Sixth I give to my Daughter Lydia Bevers, one Dollar.
Seventh I give to my Daughter Ada King, one Dollar.
Eighth I give to my son Trustum, my soos? gown and blue cloak
Ninth I give to my grand Daughter Agnes Wilson one Dollar
Tenth I give to my frand Daughter Betsey Brown one Dollar
Eleventh I order my dwelling house and lot together with all my other property to be sold within one year, after my Decease, at the direction of my Executor—
Twelfth All the residue of my Estate after payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to the following persons, viz—To Eda King, Caty Mourry & Samuel Tyler Hull, to be equally divided, excepting Caty Mourry she to have two shares—And I appoint William Woodhull for the executor of this my last will and testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twelve 1812—

1794, Apr. 2. Hull, Trustum, Sr., of Roxbury Twp., Morris Co.; will of. Wife, Elizabeth, use of 1/3 of plantation and remainder of movables during her life. Rest of lands to be sold. Son, Benjamin, ₤150. Son, Trustum, ₤400 (should he die before land is sold, his widow to have ₤70). Daughter, Mary King, ₤28. Daughters, Sarah Brown, Elizabeth Dalrymple, Rachel Brown, Lydia Beevers, Adah King and Catherine Brown, each ₤70. To 8 grandchildren (unnamed; children of daughter Margaret), each ₤3. Grandson Elijah Cooper, ₤10. To 8 grandchildren (children of daughter, Mary), each ₤4; sons when 21, daughters when 18. Residue after wife’s decease to be divided between all the children. Executors—wife, Elizabeth, and friends, Robert Carlile and William Woodhull. Witnesses—Silas Condict, Margaret Stuart, Abraham Dickerson, Jr. Proved July 1, 1794.

WILL OF BENJAMIN HULL 1733
Proved January 4, 1733
In the name of God Amen the Seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousend Seven hundred thirty one O Benjamin Hull of Piscadua in the County of Midelsex and Province of New Jersey Ueoman being of perfect mind and memory but calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is Appointed for all men once to die do make and Ordain this my last will and testament. First of all I give and recommend my Soul to God that gave it and for my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors. And as touching Such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me withall in this life I give devise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form.
Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife Sarah Hull after all my debts and funeral Charges are Fully Satisfied and paid one third part of my moveable Estate as also the benefit of the Home Lott provided She Shall use the best of her Endevour Either to Lease it out or Otherwise to Sell it to the highest Purchaser. I further Order that after my decease all my Other Lands to be Sold to ye Best Purchaser And the money to be equally divided with the Interest thereof between my five Sons Benjamin Hull Trustrum Hull Jacob Hull Reuben Hull and Meshach Hull but of any of my abovesaid five Sons die without Issue that then and in Such Case his or their part So dying Shall go to the Survivors of them then living to be equally divided by even and equal parts: but if any of the above mentioned Brothers be married and Should happen to die then his or their parts So married Shall go to his or their Heirs and Assigns for ever.
Item I further give and _________? And shall satisfy all the debts due to me after my decease. And as for the two thirds of my moveable Estate I will and Order after all my debts are fully Satisfied and paid that they be devided according to the discretion of my Said Wife.
Item I give to my Son Joseph Hull ten Shillings
Lastly I Constitute make and Ordain Sarah Hull my beloved Wife Executrix and Joseph Fitsrandolph and John Skillman Executors of this my last Will and testament And I do Utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and Every other former testaments Wills and Legacys Requests and Executors by me in any was before this time named Willed and bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

In the name of God, Amen, I Benjamin Hull being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almity god for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following that is to say (that is to say) First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary the one third part of the real estate her life time for her maintenance and as much of the personal property as will be useful for her comfort her lifetime after her death I do also give and bequeath unto my eldest son Daniel the one equal share of the rale estate. I so also give and bequeath unto my secone son Elijah one equal fourth of the rale estate.
I do also give and bequeath unto my third son Basarow one equal share of the rale estate.
I do also give and bequeath unto my fourth son Trustram one equal share of the rale estate.
I do also give and bequeath into my fifth son John one equal share of the rale estate.
I do also give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth one equal share with my sons
I do also give and bequeath unto my fore daughters equally all the moveable and personal property after the death of their beloved mother _____.
It is my request after my death that John Goddard shall settle and give unto each one their equal part according to my will without a letter of administration from the court this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June 1827.

WILL OF SARAH DRAKE HULL FOLSOM, 1749
Proved May 22, 1749
In the name of God Amen. The Second Day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Nine, I Sary Folsom of the Town of Piscataway, in the Counte of Middlesex and Provonce of New Jersey, Widdow, Being very Sick and weak in Body and knowing that it is Appoointed for Men once to Die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, That is to Say principally and first of all I give and Recommend my Soul into the Hands of God that gave it; And for my Body I Recommend to the Earth, to be Buried in Christian Like, and decent manner, at the discretion of my Executor, nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall Receive the Same again by the mighty Power of God. And as touching Such worldly Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me with in this Life I give devise and dispose of the Same, in the Following Manner and forme.
Imprimis, I give and bequeath unto my Well beloved Son Joseph Hull, the Sum of Sixteen pounds and Ten Shillings Currant money of the Province abovesaid at eight Shillings per ounce, to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Son Trustrum Hull, the Sum of Sixteen pounds and Ten Shillings of like Currant money abovesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Daughter Anne Skillman the Wife of John Skillman the Sum of Sixteen Pounds and Ten Shillings like money abovesaid to her her Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Daughter Elizabeth Clauson, the Wife of John Clauson the Sum of Sixteen Pounds and Ten Shillings like abovesaid to her her Heirs and Assigns. And also all my Sheep to her and hers aforesaid
Item. I give to my Well beloved Daughter Eunice Dunn the Wife of Phineas Dunn the Sum of Twenty Pounds like money abovesaid to her her Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Son in law Moses Fitzrandolph, the Sum of Three Pounds of like money abovesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Grand Son Benjamin Dunn the son of Jeremiah Dunn, the Sum of Two Pounds of like money abovesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Grand Son Moses Fitzrandolph the son of Moses Fitzrandolph, the Sum of Two Pounds of like money abovesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Grand Son Mesheck Hull the son of Benjamin Hull, the Sum of Two Pounds of like money abovesaid.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Grand Son Benjamin Hull son of Jacob Hull, the Sum of Two Pounds of like money abovesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I give to my Well beloved Grand Daughter Zerviah Martin, Daughter of Mulford Martin, the Sum of three Pounds of like money abovesaid to her her Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I Will that My Funeral Charges and other Lawfull Debts be paid out of my other Movable Estate. And that whatsoever over ? Shall then Remain, to be equally Divided amongst my Children above mentioned; that id to say Joseph Hull, Trustrum Hull, Anne Skillman, Elizabeth Clauson, and Eunice Dunn, to each of them their parts, to them their Heirs and Assigns.
Item. I will that my Executor as Soon as Conveniently may be do Collect my Lawfull debts; and also as Soon as Conveniently may be, he Do pay the above mentioned Sums to the persons above Named as here in presented; to them or their order
And I Do hereby utterly disallow Revoke and disanul all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Legacees, and Executors, by me in any ways before this time Named, Willed and Bequeathed; Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. And I Do likewise Constitute make and Ordain My Beloved Son in Law Jeremiah Dunn of the Town above Said, to be my only and Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament
In Witness where of I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Day and Year above written.

Wearing apparel, a Gold Locket, a gold ring and Silver Clasps, Cash (pounds) 20. 13. 03, a bond from Israel Folsom 100 (pounds), a bond of Moses Fitzrandolph 18. 05. 00, a Note of Thos Walker 3. 15. 00, a box of Scales and Weights, a Silver point and 2 Silver Cups, a bedsted and beding, a Case of Drawers, a Chest, puter and glass decanter, a Brass kettle and brass Candlestick, a bottle and earthen pot, a Small Wheel, a pair of Spectacles, Linnen and tow yarn and Wollen yarn, a Cow and yearling, An accompl against Phineas Dunn, a A (Café?) bottle, a tramel.
