This CHUTE Descendancy begins with Lionel CHUTE, b. abt 1580- d. 1645, Dedham, Essex, England. He left Dedham and came over to the New World- Massachusetts Bay Colony (Ipswich, Mass) according to the book: "Topographical Dictionary of 2885 English Emigrants to New England 1620-1650 by Charles Edward BANKS (another cousin!).
His descendant, John CHUTE born Jun 1720 in Rowley, Essex, MA emigrated to Nova Scotia (as a "New England Planter" to settle the area left vacant when the French Acadians were made to vacate the land ):with his wife Judith (FOSTER) -married: 26 Nov 1745- and family, amongst whom was Sue (CANNON) HOHNEKE's ancestor, Samuel CHUTE - born 1746-Hampstead, Rockingham, NH. Samuel married Sarah BARNES on 11 Jul 1768 in Granville TWP, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.
Our Thanks to RAWDING Cousin, Denton ORDE, who has contributed quite a bit to this CHUTE Descendancy as his wife Jeannette is a CHUTE Cousin too.
Our research here is definitely not complete on the CHUTE Family Line and we would appreciate any and all information that can be added to fill out the descendancy. The more cousins the better! We'd love to get some pictures of family too! Feel free to send any pictures or information!
