Betty Hogue Ward - I am descendant of Wm Hoge & Barbara Hume. I have been for some time, researching my heritage, I feel like I have hit a brick wall, hope you might be able to turn me around. My Father was Rufus Joseph Hogue Sr. who married Altia mamie Cleckler, His father was Joseph Johnson Hogue, Mother was Lillie Ellen browder. My dad had 2 bros Luke and Mayo & 2 sis Venice & Oleana. I have been searching the internet and cannot find any of these names I have mentioned. Also, I am working with some research my uncle Luke had done, there is a big gap. Do you have any of these names & can you help me? I certainly would be happy to share any info I have. I am eager to get this straightened out and my family wishes I would speed it up. The Hoge/Hogues came over from Scotland in the 1600's then went to Pennsylvania (Pa), Virginia (VA) Tennessee (Tn) and Alabama (Al)
